Matanuska Glacier and Muskox farm

 Matauska Glacier visit with short hike. Then onto the Musk Ox farm just north of Palmer. Another great day in AK. The herd of 75 musk ox have great views of the mountains from their fields. Of course I got some musk ox fiber. They corral the beast into a whole body gate system and then hand comb the undercoat. Second most expensive fiber in the world.








There were 4 musk ox calves.
