May 25, 2025 crossed into Canada ( land of kind people) at the North Portal. Crossing went smooth and we traveled to Big D Bison Farm. Absolutely the most awesome harvest hosts we've stopped at. It'll be hard to top this stop. We went on a 4 wheeler tour of the farm 320 acres. 131 head of bison and we were within 6 ft from a 2,000 pound bull bison. Bison calves called "red dogs" were so adorable, but no hugging baby bison. Blue Device is pumping water when bison nose bump it. Saskatchewan morning sunrise out trailor window.

Another harvest host is Sleepy Creek Winery. We pulled into their lot before the rains and re-enforced the shattered front window on our camper with plexiglass and flexseal tape. Nice wines with quiet seating around a pond listening to the frogs.

Avoiding storms, we traveled slightly East to Lexington, KY for Harvest Host stay at Wise Bird Cider Co. This was an amazing stop at a revitalized old industrial area. There were restaurants, brewery (Ethereal), distilleries, bars and the cider company. Fun area to visit in Lexington.
