 Arrived 6/7/2025 Great stop to reprovision and do truck maintenance.  But we started our Fairbanks stay with a visit to the Tanana Valley farmers market. Fantastic stalls to buy quivet fiber, bakery goods and mushrooms!



Then we went to the birthday party at the Large Animal Research center at UAF. We saw musk ox ( quivet is their fiber I WANT), reindeer babies and woodland bison calves. 






LARS sends the combed out quivet fiber to a fiber mill in the lower 48 to be spun and knit into luxury cowls, scarves and hats that cost alot of $.
